Saving money is a big hobby of mine, especially when the holidays roll around. One specific holiday that I have noticed is super expensive is Easter. I have worked hard to narrow down the costs of Easter. Here are my tips, feel free to use them the next time you need to fill up a few Easter baskets. Buy the candy during sales Candy goes fast when it comes to holidays. One way you can save money is to buy the candy during sales. Even if it is earlier than you would like, buy the candy early. The good thing about candy is that it lasts for a while! It won’t go bad and you will save a ton of money by buying it while it’s on sale. Saving on baskets Why do parents do this stuff to themselves? You can save a ton of money by reusing the same basket year after year. When I was a kid, my grandma used the same Easter basket year after year. Now that I’m older, I can appreciate why she did this. These things really add up! Don’t buy the Easter grass If there is anything I despise more, it is Easter grass. It’s so messy and I do not like having it all over my house.
